Comment:

 It seems the various patches on this ticket need consolidation and a
 little more work so I am moving this of the 6.0 milestone.

 Ideally, I think the tests would be separate and in addition to the spaces
 test. It would also be good to test some accents and non-latin characters
 as indicated in [comment:6 comment 6].
