Comment:

 I think that the removal of the form in Gutenberg might actually be the
 best solution to this. If a site is large enough to be facing this issue,
 they should be on Gutenberg or be working the way towards it.

 I think we can close this as `wontfix` with the goal of deprecating
 `meta_form`
