 Hello all,

I am using the edit image tool to crop images for the post pages
uniformly. In this case, I use "crop" to make images for the post overview
 page uniformly 4:3.

Unfortunately, cropping only works correctly when I want to change a
portrait image. If I have a landscape image, which is close to 4:3, I can
type in 4 for the ratio, but the 3 is not accepted. By dragging the frame
it does slip the crop frame into the 4:3 ratio but somehow it doesn't seem
to save it correctly. After I click crop, it still crops it correctly, but
as soon as I save the image and use it as a post image, the original
uncropped image appears, even in the frontend. So as if it would not be
saved / overwritten correctly in all sizes.

I would dare to say that this is a bug, but unfortunately I don't know a
 workaround for it.
Do you have an idea what can help? A good plugin as an alternative I have
 not found yet.

 Best regards
