 Perhaps the `Upgrade Notice` field could be included?

 The `Upgrade Notice` field is defined in the readme, and is the text that
 is shown on the updates page below the plugin.

 Few plugins use it right now, but including that if set, and linking off
 to the WordPress.org page for the changelog tab would make sense to me.
