 Howdy @donno1 and thanks for opening the ticket. This is very helpful for
 everyone to track down problems :) Could you by any chance provide a
 sample of what is returned in those invalid JSON requests? To get that,
 open develper tools and click on `https://smallbusinessconnect.com.au/wp-
 json/wp/v2/widget-types/awesomeweatherwidget?context=edit&locale=_user`
 and paste here what shows when that is expanded. That would help with
 debugging as it looks from the screeshots that mamy widget calls return
 undexpected results (usually some error, which is not JSON).

 Either way the quickest way to solve the problem for a live site is to use
 the opt out [https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-widgets/ Classic
 Widgets plugin]
