Comment:

 The link above shows the Genericons Neue font now; the Genericons version
 used in Twenty Sixteen would be the one in the
 [https://github.com/Automattic/Genericons/blob/master/source/fontcustom-
 webfont/genericons.css Automattic repository].

 Adding more icons to the font probably should be done there, if anyone has
 an interest in that.
