 Looking at the last patch, I'm not sure this is something where we really
 need an automated test. It wouldn't hurt of course (if we can define which
 specific tests are needed), but it would be worst if the patch can't ship
 at all :)

 Anyway, I tested `16206.8.patch`: it still applies cleanly on my side.
