 Seeing this ticket is closed now, has it been merged upstream? No other
 updates or status on that ticket other than it being closed soon after it
 was opened: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/35168.

 If it's ready we'd love to include it in 5.8.2 RC which is due today, if
 not, I'm afraid we'll need to punt to future.
