 @GeekPress Thanks so much for this ticket and the PR!

 Today is feature freeze date for 5.8. Since the focus has been heavily on
 full site editing this release, a committer has unfortunately not had the
 chance to review this. I'm going to punt this to the 5.9 milestone as it
 seems ready to go pending a thorough review.
