 I understand your concern with those, but I guess you could let the
 default ones overwrite the manual ones or give them a slightly different
 color. Maybe it shouldn't even be a Post State, but I've used Plesk for
 example and there you could add a description to list items (Domains) as
 well. I think it might be nice to consider having an area to jot down
 quick ideas or don't-forgets for some pages.

 If no one agrees I'll make a plugin for it, but I think it's worth
 considering. :)
