 Hi @deborah86,

 Welcome to Trac!

 I took a look at this one, and it appears this is an intentional design
 decision when the theme was built.

 In the theme code, the code displaying the down arrow is only displayed
 for pages. For posts, the post excerpt is displayed instead (if a custom
 one is defined).

 I'm closing this out as `wontfix` because this is intentional.
