Comment:

 As mentioned earlier, WordPress has been removing `title` attributes due
 to accessibility concerns.

 In this case, I think it is redundant as the name of the person is
 displayed inline. Adding titles risks screen reader users (depending the
 software used) hearing "Matt Mullenweg Matt Mullenweg" and so on for each
 of the contributors.

 As WP has been removing title attributes by design, I'm going to close
 this ticket off.
