Comment:

 In [attachment:"52783.diff"], I've removed the `bad_response_source`
 portion of the check but kept everything leading up to that. At the moment
 this is just a POC/idea to allow for feedback.

 @Ipstenu is this what you were thinking or were you suggesting that the
 SSL verification check be removed too?
