 Thanks @drw158 for reporting this. We recently reviewed this during a
 [https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/C02S78ZAL/p1624982629495600 design
 triage session]. Based on the feedback from the team we also feel like
 **Option C** is a more sensible choice. Upon further research a few other
 resources came to our discovery. This [https://www.invisionapp.com/inside-
 design/comprehensive-guide-designing-ux-buttons/ article from Invisionapp]
 is quite handy although it focuses more on the mobile devices. We also
 feel that this can lead us towards creating a proper scope for new
 guidelines to be added to the existing ones. Cheers!
