 Quick update, as there's one step that isn't super obvious in testing
 here.

 The color issue only represents it self in the Legacy Widget preview,
 proper blocks are all looking good here, this limits the impact to any
 existing WP users, since block-based widgets are set up by default in a
 new install starting with WordPress 5.8
