 Hi @rsmith4321,

 Welcome to Trac!

 I also had thought of this while testing the new Query Loop block. There
 is [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/27620 an open issue] on
 the [https://github.com/wordpress/gutenberg Gutenberg repository] where
 the block editor is maintained to track this. The block will need to be
 updated there before it can be merged into WordPress Core. You can follow
 along with that here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/27620.
