 WordPress 5.8 reached the beta 1 milestone today, so it's time to start
 actively working on the About page. There are a few tasks we will want to
 split up:

 1. Write a draft of the copy.
      a. Here's a Google Doc for easy collaboration/feedback gathering

      b. Here is the list of known headline items (TERMS NOT FINAL)
           * Template Editing Mode
           * Query Block
           * 20+ Theme blocks
           * Persistent List View
           * Block based Widgets Editor
           * Block themes based on Theme.json
           * Loading Patterns from the Pattern directory
           * Block Pattern suggestion in Placeholders
           * Duotone filter block supports
           * Pattern transformations
      c. I think we still need some suggestions for what to include in the
 developer happiness section and any suggestions for delightful user-facing
 items.
 2. Start the design, and identify any additional images needed.
      a. I could use a designer or two who want to collaborate on this!


 Next Steps?
 I think the next steps are for me to drop over to Marketing and Design
 with a note that this collaborative opportunity is available.
