 Thanks @metalandcoffee and @patkemper for testing. Looks like this may be
 the same as #52050, and perhaps similar to #52111. Could you please test
 if https://core.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/52111/52111.diff
 fixes it.

 Moving back to the 5.8 milestone pending testing of the possible patch.
