Comment:

 Been looking/trying to consistently reproduce this for a while. Thinking
 @herrvigg is right, seems caused by the changes in the async firing of
 load/ready events. Moving the `tinymce.init()` to fire on DOM ready seems
 to fix all cases here. Patch coming up.
