Hello @pigdog234,
Welcome to WordPress Core Trac!
I too was unable to reproduce the saving/updating problem you are
experiencing.
- I'm not sure how you have the `YouTube Free` settings configured.
Looking through these settings, there are a few for privacy, legacy
scripts, Ajax, etc. which may or may be contributing to the problems
you're experiencing.
- The errors you shared do show scripts being blocked whether by privacy
settings in something in your site (possibly by `Embed Plus for YouTube -
Gallery, Channel, Playlist, Live Stream` or some other plugin or script)
and/or by something in your browser (setting or add-on).
- Youtube widget responsive form layout did change from WordPress 5.7.2 to
5.8 as you showed.
The update/save problem seems to be due to something blocking the scripts
as noted above rather than due to WordPress Core.
== Next steps
- For the change in how the Youtube widget responsive form is showing,
please contact the plugin's author in their support forum
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/youtube-widget-responsive/
- For the update/save problem:
- Please try troubleshooting using this
[https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-master-
list/ WordPress 5.8 master list and troubleshooting guide]
- If the problem continues, I'd suggest opening a support forum request
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/ as the
forum can provide you with guidance and help to further troubleshooting
your site and potential which plugins may be causing the issue you are
experiencing
- If after doing these steps it is determined to be a WordPress Core
specific issue and not a plugin or site issue, then reopen this ticket and
share further information.
