 Thanks all. I somehow missed notifications when comments were added, and
 follow up was requested.
 Only saw the "case closed" message.
 But that's fine. I have a workaround.
 And clearly it isn't a problem with a standard theme!
 I have a 3rd party theme.
 Maybe it's time to jetison that.
