#52242: No "view" link after updating a post

Unfortunate loss of functionality in the latest release (5.6).

When I finished creating a new post, I had a view link.
Then I edited the post to make a small addition.
After updating the post, I no longer had a VIEW link--only PREVIEW.

Thinking that button now does the same thing, I clicked it and sent
 that URL to my followers.

But that link puts a "preview" tag in a query string at the end of the
 URL.
The URL is long enough that it isn't obvious.

When I sent the link to my followers, I got reports saying they didn't
have permission to preview the post--even though it was already published.

 The action items I recommend:
    1. Restore the View button that used to display after a post is
 updated.
    2. If someone has a link to a published post that has a "preview" tag,
point them to the post without the tag! (For a numbered post that
hasn't been published, the permissions restriction makes sense. For
 a
post that *has* been published, it doesn't.)
