My impression of the conclusion is that if there is a server resource
issue that occurs a result of the zip creation process then a simple page
reload brings the site back to it's previous state showing a plugin/theme
update being available.
This shouldn't be an issue as long as the frequency of this happening is
rare. If this is happens with small plugins it's an issue.
If it happens with large plugins like Mailpoet, Jetpack, Yoast SEO, etc.
then perhaps it's not ideal to run a resource intensive site on a resource
poor shared environment.
