 I use a subdomain install like https://primary.tld and all blogs should
 have something like https://site.primary.tld but they get
 http://site.primary.tld upon creating new blogs. The main site has https
 on, therefore I expect new subsites to have it aswell.

 There is a support ticket with a hacky solution.
