 Looking at [attachment:"34281.15.diff"]:
 > Used to avoid sending the Admin IP address when the password reset was
 not asked by the user.

 It seems like this could be done without adding a new parameter to the
 function, just by comparing the `$user_login` parameter to the current
 user's login instead.
