 I agree that certain blocks most likely cannot contribute to an auto-
 generated excerpt in a meaningful way. However, in the case where a parent
 block has multiple inner blocks and some of the blocks in the parent could
 contribute to the excerpt why is the baby thrown out with the bathwater?

 I propose enhancing {{{ excerpt_remove_blocks }}} to continue parsing the
 remaining inner blocks of a parent block while ignoring those that are not
 whitelisted.
