 PR submitted and ready for review.

 Tested with `hello.php` in `wp-content/plugins/`.
 This now updates successfully and is placed in `wp-content/plugins/hello-
 dolly/` as expected.

 Tested with these plugins that are correctly stored in `wp-
 content/plugins/slug/`:
 - Akismet
 - Core Rollback
 - WooCommerce
 - WordPress SEO (Yoast)

 All continue to update successfully.
