 Creating a feature plug-in is a good way to at least figure out the end
 goal we want to accomplish with a new menu system. I think it may be too
 disruptive to use the usual feature plug-in process, where we eventually
 just switch over to the new system - but using the feature plug-in as a
 way to identify gaps in support, pain points, and figure out a transition
 process might be highly beneficial.
