 Welcome @sarmstead! And @chaion07!

 Component maintainer @marybaum here. I've taken this page on formally
 after being its informal lead for the last year and a half, since 5.4,
 going through 5.7.

 The Core team has been discussing ways the page might evolve along with
 the block editor, and how it might reach even more people — and how we the
 community can get really clear on who it's for and what people should get
 out of it.

 My co-maintainer, Abha Thakor (I will nominate her Wednesday at devchat),
 and I are thinking about how we might surface the content ahead of the
 time to do the creative.

 There is also some discussion, on Slack and on Make in several posts,
 about evolving the About page itself, so any discussion here is premature
 at best. I suggest we hold off AT LEAST until Wednesday devchat, and then
 we'll know where we stand.
