 Last time we merged this patch we thought it was a good idea to merge it
 early in the cycle -> see

 So maybe it's a good time to do it again?

 Also, please have a look at #52094. There I fixed the same situation with
 post statues. And there's a proposed unified fix for both tickets - or a
 separate if we want.
