 Hi @eddystile - it doesn't look like I'm able to replicate this. On a
 clean installation of 5.5.1 as well as updating an existing install, I'm
 able to see Patterns as intended.

 Could you try with a theme like Twenty Twenty and check to make sure there
 isn't a plugin conflict that might be getting in the way, like an
 additional block plugin library?

 Additionally, if you've already created a custom pattern, please provide
 the code we can make sure that's not causing a conflict.
