 Looks like a good idea @paaljoachim but it would need a dedicated (and it
 doesn't exist yet) API to handle the release date. Also release dates can
 change depending on the release process. I'm also concerned about minor
 releases. It would be a bit weird to announce the next release date and
 also announce that WordPress was just updated (minor release) :-)
