 Thanks for this report, and welcome to Trac!

 I am having trouble reproducing the issue you are seeing. Can you provide
 some more details and the exact text you are trying to paste into the HTML
 block?

 Also, can you clarify where that markup is coming from (just to be sure,
 though it looks like valid and acceptable markup on first glance), and is
 there a reason you are not using the Twitter block to embed the tweet?
