The above is a suggestion in regards to Privacy Controls in the profile
page.

Permissions
Your privacy choices while logged in are saved in the database and will
persist until you change them.

Your privacy choices while logged out are saved in a cookie and will only
persist until the cookie expires, or is deleted.

automatically synchronized once you log in again, but the website defaults
will apply until that time.
