I tend to agree with comment:4. While `_get_cron_array()` could ignore the
invalid value, that would just hide the fact that the option is still
corrupted by some plugin and won't work as expected.
Even if we reset the value to an empty array, there's no guarantee that it
won't be corrupted again by the same plugin, so I think it would be better
to track down the culprit.
