Comment:

 I'm going to bump this as I haven't had a chance to fully test this even
 though I agree with the overall change, and it's not part of any specific
 5.6 focus. In addition, this touches a lot of code that doesn't have test
 coverage.

 Related: #51553 depending on the decision made in that ticket around back-
 compat for parameter name changes.
