Comment:

 In today's core scrub, decision made to punt this ticket to `Future
 Release` as 5.6 Beta 1 is 5 days (next Tuesday 20th Oct) and this ticket
 needs tests.

 If any maintainer or committer feels this can be resolved in time, or
 wishes to assume ownership during a specific cycle, feel free to update
 the milestone accordingly.
