 I had the same thought when I saw it. It doesn't seems to follow
 [https://developer.wordpress.org/coding-standards/wordpress-coding-
 standards/php/#clever-code the guideline about clever code].

 I'd personally suggest removing it, and writing simple, descriptive
 statements like in Dion's example.
