 Hi @johnbillion

 Thanks a lot for your feedback.

 As the notification opt-in is checked before notifying the comment author
 and deleted once the notification was sent, I believe it provides us from
 sending more than one email per comment.

 I'm going to refresh the patch and work on adding unit tests to be sure
 about this :)
