 Yes, after disabling the "Allow link notifications from other blogs
 (pingbacks and trackbacks) on new posts" can't post new content as "Column
 'ping_status' cannot be null" error pops up.

 Before that, I removed all the comments with pingback attribute from the
 Database.

 Tried in Troubleshooting mode and the issue persists.
