 Hi @kpdaa. Thanks for the suggestion.

 This would involve Core making network requests to a third party service.
 This opens up WordPress users to unwanted tracking and other privacy
 implications. We've historically taken a hard line on this, e.g. see
 #38418.

 This type of functionality is best left for plugins to implement. I note
 that Jetpack has already implemented a block that searches Pexels Free
 Photo Library.
