 When provided, [https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/add-excerpts-to-your-
 pages-in-wordpress/ custom (manual) excerpts] would show up in a summary
 feed in WordPress 5.5. You can copy and paste exactly what you want the
 summary to be in those (even with a page builder theme/plugin).

 There also might be a way to use the `wp_trim_excerpt` filter for
 automated fallbacks, though my testing is unsuccessful the way I tried it.
