 Asking each user to remove the column is a bit annoying.

 Yes, I also believe that there must be a plugin that does this job. But
 installing more plugins will make my site slow down, and the job looks so
 simple

 There are many small customizations that we would like to do and that
 usually have plugins for that. But, the problem is that installing plugin
 for any customization we want, there will come a time when we will have
 hundreds of plugins installed and the site will be slow.

 Therefore, it would be a solution for WP to offer the maximum backend
 customization feature to avoid installing plugins as much as possible.
