 I'm very much interested in the ability to, on MultiSite, remove a User
 from a subsite and re-assign their posts to a different User.

 Before I spend way too much time on a patch for this, is it possible to
 confirm this functionality would likely get accepted for Core? I'm not
 sure if there have been any other discussions on this in the past 4
 years...
