 I happen to create a new ticket
 https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/50090 on the same issue without
 searching first.
 I would instead suggest to add Gutenberg plugin information to the
 WordPress accordion under the Site Health Info area.
 Adding plugin version to the footer beside WordPress would be a bit much.
 Having it in the Site Health Info area would be the most natural place to
 add information about which Gutenberg plugin is included in Core.

 The benefit of adding Gutenberg plugin information to Site Health is that
 we can at the same time educate people to where they find additional
 information about their web site.
