 This is true and I agree. It is unfortunate that it is necessary for web
 applications to need to solve what is essentially a server configuration
 error, and it feels kinda hacky, but if including some zero byte files
 fixes the issue more effectively than education, then so be it.

 Question: Should it be index.php, or index.html? Or index.htm? What
 provides the most coverage? Might as well get it right the first time.
