 **Describe the bug**

 If I click on "Search menu items" I am unable to go back to the previous
 view, where the posts/pages/categories were visible.

 **Steps to reproduce the behavior:**

 - Open the Customizer
 - Click on Menus
 - Edit any menu and click on "Search"
 - The "X" button will not take you back to the previous step.

 **Expected behavior**

 I expected the "X" next to the searchbox to close this search
 functionality and take me back to the previous step. I can edit the text
 and search for something else, but I need to reload the customizer to see
 my posts and pages again.
