 Hi @imani3011 and thanks for the report!

 It seems this is no longer necessary due to declining Internet Explorer
 use. I did notice the black box when using the IE8 emulator, but not with
 IE11 (which is still supported). It likely started to fail when
 [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2017/04/23/target-browser-coverage/
 WordPress discontinued older IE support in 4.8].

 Unless you see the problem in a more modern browser or another situation,
 I recommend closing this ticket.
