 Since post permalinks can be quite long (especially if the date is
 included and for long post titles), I'm not sure a column is a good idea.
 Certainly not one that's displayed by default. It would likely make the
 posts overview screen more daunting for novice users.

 There are several plugins available that will add the column (such as
 https://wordpress.org/plugins/admin-slug-column/) or offer this
 functionality as part of a more complete solution
 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/codepress-admin-columns/).
