 Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the report.

 PHPMailer was updated to version 6.1.6 in [48033] / #41750.

 The current version [source:trunk/src/wp-
 includes/PHPMailer/PHPMailer.php?rev=48045&marks=4235#L4231 does include
 the MIME type for .ics], so I'm closing the ticket as fixed in WordPress
 5.5.
